Graduation trip

Image
I aimed for us to leave by 07:30, to arrive before the office closed at 18:00.  Alas, we were 15 minutes late on the road and the trip took longer than the 9 hours 8 minutes estimated by the Maps app!. However, with three drivers, we made it comfortably by 18:10 and our apartment was gorgeous, gas fireplace and all. We Back home 30 September

I seem to have this digital memory keeping process developed (at last!!!). A terrific Dixon family get together in Queenstown, NZ.  Sadly Michael couldn't get leave at this time and both Kira and Lachlan needed to be at school :(  While I was there I also attended the Stroke2017 Conference . Cheers, thanks for dropping by. If could leave a comment to let me know you have been here, i would really appreciate that :) Nikki

We had a beautiful weekend away. It was a great start to a 3 week holiday for me from work. The photo collage was an experiment with the Becky Higgins - Project Life app on my phone.

The few gaps from taking a photo each day have been filled in with snaps from my USA trip in March (I really need to get the most out of the trip that I can). The photos from 24 to 28 were used in a facebook challenge to post a photo for 5 days that was older than 15 years.  As not all of my family (siblings) use FB, I decided to add them here.

A dear friend (thank you Jaki) reminded me I hadn't posted my Photo a Day for June.  There were a few gaps, so I have been filling them with pictures taken on my USA trip with Jeannette in March.

Jeannette and I had an amazingly restorative break from reality as we spent time in Florida, Louisiana and Texas.  It was terrific coming home to my amazing fmaily and then we had Bruce and Marguerite visit from NZ before they headed off on their next Australian adventure.

Catch up time.  The kids & Michael went to NSW after New Years and spent time with family.  I popped down to Sydney for a couple of nights.  We had a lovely day in the Botanical Gardens and a delightful 12 hour drive home on our wedding anniversary (17/1).  The kids went back to school and are looking so grown up these days.
