Well now, all the study and anticipation of completing and graduating with a Master of Health Science - Stroke management is behind me now. More time for discovery of: health movement cooking journaling memory keeping Here is a catch up of my sporadic activity since January 2017.
Lots of lovely cards this month and a delightful visit from my dad and Kathy. I had a splendid weekend away at Stamp Camp. My birthday was a great celebration and a reminder of all the beautiful people in my life (thanks everyone). The biggest news is I am teaching Lachlan to drive :)
Oh my, another 31 days behind us! Here are a few snaps of: Cards to celebrate and remember Outings with friends about the house/back yard The Park Ridge Tyre Tree & Bledisloe Cup happiness (for the kiwis) Kira had a few tumbles at school & Fred and Michael built a bike shed Thanks for stopping by.
The few gaps from taking a photo each day have been filled in with snaps from my USA trip in March (I really need to get the most out of the trip that I can). The photos from 24 to 28 were used in a facebook challenge to post a photo for 5 days that was older than 15 years. As not all of my family (siblings) use FB, I decided to add them here.
A dear friend (thank you Jaki) reminded me I hadn't posted my Photo a Day for June. There were a few gaps, so I have been filling them with pictures taken on my USA trip with Jeannette in March.
This month has been occupied with: a little bit of work with a trip to Melbourne to visit a health service of excellence; musical concert performances from the kids school (and Kira's first solo on flute); some beautiful card making by Kira; Stamp Camp #12 or #13; some local nature & a mixture from Epcot, FL during my visit in March; & the great frozen fruit sorbet I make for the kids and I when we want a wee sweetish snack (no added sugar).
Jeannette and I had an amazingly restorative break from reality as we spent time in Florida, Louisiana and Texas. It was terrific coming home to my amazing fmaily and then we had Bruce and Marguerite visit from NZ before they headed off on their next Australian adventure.
A quiet month of family, card making, study and looking at cute animal pictures. on 29/2 I left for a 3 week adventure to USA with my friend Jeannette. THank you to George who came and stayed to support Michael and the kids while I scooted around the world :)
Catch up time. The kids & Michael went to NSW after New Years and spent time with family. I popped down to Sydney for a couple of nights. We had a lovely day in the Botanical Gardens and a delightful 12 hour drive home on our wedding anniversary (17/1). The kids went back to school and are looking so grown up these days.
October is always my favourite month (it may be something to do with my birthday being in October). We have all been busy with card production, music performances; some visitors & outings and enjoying spring.
A lovely month, as the weather warms up, we have had a little rain. I have managed to do some card making, share some time with friends and enjoy a mid-semester break from study.
A very ho-hum collection of images this month. I didn't even bother back-tracking and filling in the blanks. If you look close enough you will notice there has been no rain to speak of. We had a great visit from Mark and celebrated his 50th birthday.
too much study going on for a photo each day, so i back-tracked and have added a few of my favourite images. Featuring photos taken by Dale around Wellington are: 13;15 &23. Thanks for stopping by :)
