Giving This is one from the stash that we had made at a class. As I don't own all the doings I can't provide them.  This was given to my hairdresser who had twin boys 6 weeks ago (8 weeks premature).  I thought the 'two by two' theme of the ark made a most appropriate selection to welcome them

He finds himself floating North to the windswept Arctic island of Novy Odense, where he and his hare daemon Hester are quickly tangled in a deadly plot involving oil magnate Larsen Manganese, corrupt mayoral candidate Ivan Poliakov, and Lee's longtime nemesis from the Dakota Country: Pierre McConville, a hired

I really enjoyed this book.  I had read Wildflower Hill while on holiday last year, so I wasn't surprised that this was just as compelling. I managed to read it in a week as well!  Not much else gets done though. Lighthouse Bay Kimberley Freeman A compelling tale of love, secrets, and the power of forgiveness. 1901: Isabella Winterbourne has suffered the worst loss a woman can know. She can no longer bear her husband nor his oppressive upper-class family. But in this strange new place, she finds she cannot escape her past quite as easily as she d hoped. 2011: A woman returns from Paris to her beachside home town to reconcile with her sister. But she, too, has a past that is hard to escape and her sister is not in a mood to forgive her. Strange noises at night and activity at the aband
